Every once in a while, trimming eyebrows will be a good idea; it will help give them a good look.

It will remove the look of an overgrown eyebrow. There are several tips that have to be followed while trimming eyebrows. A lot of women may try to give themselves a beauty tip, but they may end up harming the beauty.

If you are not too fond of “tweezing,” this is the other possible way out. It is the best alternative to tweezing.

There are some good eyebrow shapers, which can be used to trim eyebrows. There will be different sets, and each set will provide a different shape. You may choose any of these trimmers.

The guide mark on the shaping comb has to be placed with the outline of the eyebrow, and it has to be moved slowly from the tip to the base. This procedure has to be repeated three to four times, till the desired length is achieved. The top and bottom parts of the eyebrow must be trimmed separately.

First you need to brush the hairs of the eyebrow up, and check which hairs are long. The very long ones may be cut of with a pair of small and sharp scissors. The eyebrow must then be brushed downwards and checked again. The brow has to be brushed downwards again, to make sure there are no hairs that left to be trimmed.

The eyebrows should then be checked into place, and you must again check for unwanted hair that seems out of place. The above processes must be repeated, till you are satisfied with the shape of the eyebrow. If you are using straight scissors, the hair must not be trimmed more than one or two millimeters.

The space between the eyebrows too, must not be too much. They must never be more than one inch apart. Whenever you trim eyebrows, make sure you trim one hair at a time.

By doing so, you will maintain the shape of the eyebrows. Cutting a bunch of them together may result in disaster, and it may lose its shape. You must begin by trimming bit by bit, and reassessing the look. Do not do the job in a hurry.
