Find information and help on cellulite problems and cellulite therapyCellulite is not a matter of weight; on the contrary. You may see lots of slim women having severe cellulite. The answer to all this is simple: cellulite is not related and does not depend on burning fats; it is all about focusing your attention on repairing your skin. Cellulite isn’t caused by fats but by dehydrated, dry skin. Women having cellulite are normal, healthy women; the ‘orange peel’ skin aspect starts to bother them as an aesthetical problem at first. Then they begin to hide their abdomen, their thighs and buttocks, which are usually the most affected areas. Cellulite may even happen to men, but 90-98% of cases occur to women. Cellulite acts in the third skin layer of our body, the subcutaneous one. Cellulite is rarely seen in men, irrespective if they are obese or not, as they have a different type of dermis, epidermis and subcutaneous tissue than women have; as a result cellulite barely ‘catches’ them. During the third stage of intrauterine evolution there appears a difference between men and women fat cell structure which begins to manifest at birth. Basically, cellulite has two different forms: the first one that can be only observed when compressing that certain area, that can be seen on the thighs area when a women is seated with her legs crossed; the other type of cellulite is the one which is visible, ‘the orange peel’ look that can be perfectly notable when looking at a woman standing in a natural position or laying down. Cellulite tends to get worse while you age; for example in a woman’s case, the dermis thickness reaches its climax at the age of 30. Moreover, the collagen and the elastic fibers become ‘older’ with the time, therefore the dermis becomes softer. That is why there are a lot of fat cells protruding the dermis surface, underlining the cellulite appearance. In addition, the lack of physical exercises and the wrong nutrition starts becoming visible in the fat cells depositing in the subcutaneous tissue. Young women (adolescents) usually have the first type of cellulite, the one that can be barely seen when compressing the area; all this happens because of a structural mechanism. They do not have the second type, which is a severe cellulite type. Cellulite has nothing to do with being fat; that is why a lot of women who loose a lot of weight still have cellulite. Women should loose weight progressively so that the skin should naturally adapt to the weight loss process. Liposuction surgery is not a good idea when it comes to treat cellulite. On the contrary! It may worsen the ‘orange peel’ appearance. The lymph system and the veins which are not properly cleaned are the main cause of cellulite. This is all determined by severe varix, hereditary vein problems, anxiety, lack of physical activity which causes bad lymph drainage, stress and even smoking which causes blood circulation disorder. Cellulite development also depends a lot on genetics and inherited hormonal features. One way you can reduce cellulite is to apply a healthy, fat-free alimentation; also drink as much water as you can, in order to clean your organism, to hydrate it and to improve the circulatory system. Do physical exercises; try to make a custom of being active, as it keeps you in good shape and it encourages the blood circulation. Begin now to consider changing your life…Do not ignore cellulite, it will even get worse.
