Cellulite Reduction

Cellulite is the body's natural way of storing fat in an adult woman. Up to four out of five western women are affected with cellulite. Occasionally men are affected, too. Certain parts of the body such as thighs and arms are prone to developing dimpled fat. The fat of cellulite is separated by inelastic bands of connective tissues. Many people with cellulite are overweight. As the person gains weight, the fat cells swell but the connective bands remain the same. The fat then bulges out towards the skin, as this is the only way possible and creates a dimpled appearance of cellulite. The problem often becomes apparent with age. There are a number of products for Cellulite Reduction. In this advanced world of cosmetic technology, getting rid of cellulite has become easier, faster and affordable.

Poor circulation of lymph may contribute to cellulite formation. Lymph is a milky liquid that carries excess fluid, waste products and toxins from the tissues to the bloodstream via the lymphatic vessels. Poor circulation of lymph can be due to excess fat, lack of exercise or fluid retention. These may allow wastes to build up in the tissues. This may be one reason why some women who are not overweight have cellulite. To prevent cellulite, try to keep the weight at a normal level and avoid rapid increases of weight. Exercise regularly to improve the body tone, reduce fat, build muscle and boost the circulation of lymph and blood. Avoiding sitting or standing for long periods can reduce cellulite. Eating five servings of vegetables and fruits each day can help cellulite reduction. Alcohol and caffeine intake should be limited. Cellulite can also be reduced by drinking water-based fluids every day. This would relieve thirst.

Another popular treatment for Cellulite Reduction is the cellulite cream. These creams are easily available as no prescription is needed. A high quality anti-cellulite cream or gel would begin to work immediately on the appearance of the cellulite. The cream is simply applied and rubbed on the affected area of the skin. Massaging would help stimulate the blood flow and break up the collagen bonds below the skin that cause the bumps and lumps.

Liposuction is another method for Cellulite Reduction. Liposuction confiscates the fat deposits which lie below the skin. This is done under general anesthesia. Cellulite reduction can also be done through non-surgical methods. Entomology tentatively stimulates the break down of fat and cellulite. A machine is used to apply pressure and for suction of fat. Each session will last for 40 minutes and should be done once or twice a week till the cellulite is reduced. Another technique combines ultrasound and non-invasive dermal therapy. This is used for exceptional cellulite reduction, fat reduction and skin smoothing treatments.

There are also other useful Cellulite Reduction programs on the internet. It is vital to restore the elasticity of the skin and reduce the appearance of the cellulite. It is important to take preventive measures both internally and externally to contribute to Cellulite Reduction though it cannot be completely purged from life.
