Permanent Hair Removal and Body Hair Removal

From ancient times women have invented different methods in order to get rid of the unwanted and unaesthetic body hair. Some of them were even invented by men. Women’s body and facial hair is considered manly and vulgar; it gives the unrefined and dirty look. It is totally non-sexual and unattractive. Women usually like to see it on men, but they definitely hate it when it comes to deal with it on their bodies.

The most common hair removal methods are the wax hair removal, the shaving (which is a method applied by both genders), the hair removal cream, and something a bit more technological but painful – the electric hair removal epilator. All these methods are temporary and, excepting the first and the last one, they are painless.

Then another hair removal method has developed - the permanent one. The permanent hair removal is done with the help of laser. This method uses the light energy in order to destroy the hair roots. It is a great way of getting rid of the unwanted hair especially for men, who have a deeper hair root than women have, and also for women that have light skin and dark hair (Snow White - like). The reason comes from the laser technology: the great power that aims with a single wavelength. The laser hair removal is extremely painful and it needs local anesthesia. Having a great energy power it can redden or even burn the skin; as a result, there can appear hypo or hyper pigmented scars.

The newest and the most elegant hair removal method is the permanent method which uses the Intensively Pulsed Light. It is also the method that has had the greatest results until now. The technology used by the IPL method is the selective photo thermo analysis. It is similar to the laser method, because it is also based on light, but on a special light, that has a lower energy than the striking laser. The major advantage of this method is the large wavelength specter, which makes possible the permanent hair removal with zero risk of infection; the treatment takes less time and the results become visible right after the first session. This means a non-invasive and painless process, which doesn’t require any anesthesia or recovering time. Its unique characteristics allow the efficient removal of all kinds of hair colors: from brown and brunette to blond. It makes no difference if the hair texture is thin or wiry or if the skin color is Scandinavian white or Mediterranean burnt sugar. The IPL hair removal method is applied in a number of several sessions. The reason is physiological and it depends on the body construction: the hair grows in phases which succeed within a growing cycle; the idea is that a certain period of time has to go by so that the hair should be in a beginning stage. That is the perfect moment to make the intervention: more sessions on the face and body and less on the legs. This is a permanent hair removal method for the non-androgenic areas. There is no need to repeat the process after 4, 5 or 10 years. Once you have destroyed the hair roots, ready! Forget about wax, hair removal creams, razor blades or electric hair removal epilators.
