Eyebrow Tweezers

The practice or art if you will, of plucking and waxing one’s eyebrows to maintain a clean and fashionable appearance has been in use for many centuries. The cheapest and by far the most common way to pluck one’s eyebrows is through the use of tweezers, specifically eyebrow tweezers.

When you purchase your eyebrow tweezers you want to find that certain criteria have been or will be met. A high-quality grip on the tweezers is a must. You need a high-quality grip because they eyebrows and the immediate area around them are very, very sensitive and the slightest wrong move when plucking one’s eyebrows can lead to quite a few seconds (or minutes) of serious pain. The next criteria to be met when purchasing eyebrow tweezers, is cleanliness, that is I (and most of you I am sure) would like the easiest to clean eyebrow tweezers on the market. If you share this sentiment (or laziness depending on your point of view) then stainless steel is the way to go. Stainless steel is very easy to clean (hence the name stainless ha-ha) and is lightweight. Next you want to know exactly how (and what) you are going to use them for. If you wish to get hold of hair easily then I would recommend that you choose the slanted eyebrow tweezers instead of the more traditional straight-edged ones.

Eyebrow tweezers are not terribly expensive, but they can cost you a little bit of cash (anywhere from a few dollars to twenty and above) depending on what you want. As this is the case you definitely want to know what you are looking for (example: quality or cost) and chose the store (or place) that you purchase your new eyebrow tweezers accordingly.

When you buy a new set of eyebrow tweezers you may receive a helpful set of tips, which might or might not seem like commands at the time (they mean well I assure you). I fervently (emphasis on the word fervently) suggest that you use these tips and abide by them; they will help you if you let them. Remember, eyebrow plucking, if done incorrectly, can be extremely painful. If you do not receive these helpful “hints” I suggest you do one of two things (or both if you wish). You can ask the clerk who sold them to you (he or she might or might not be able to help you) or someone you know who has used eyebrow tweezers in the past, or you can run a search on the web for helpful hints or tips.

We discussed what to look for (and what not to look for) when purchasing eyebrow tweezers, what eyebrow tweezers might cost you and to know what you are looking for, and how to find helpful hints and tips before you put yourself through a lot of unnecessary pain. Are you now better equipped to deal with the purchase and use of your eyebrow tweezers? I hope that you are. We have hopefully told you that which you did not know and reaffirmed some of what you did know.
