Fabric Cosmetic Bag
How many of you readers are either women or have teenage daughters? Some of you? Half of you? All of you perhaps? We are going to talk about a very, very, popular accessory that most women (young women in general though) own or wish they owned. Guys don’t feel left out; even though we are talking about a female accessory it doesn’t really matter because we men have to know this as well. We are going to talk about the handbag; specifically a fabric cosmetic handbag.
A cosmetic hand bag is basically a bad in which a woman (often a woman, men have been seen to carry them as well) place her cosmetic products. These cosmetic products include make-up, toiletries, and more. The more popular cosmetic bag today is by far the fabric hand bag.
The fabric hand bag comes in many different styles, brands, colors, shapes and sizes. The more famous brands in the fabric cosmetic bag business are Gucci, Vera Bradley, and Oscar de la Renta, to name but a few. Gucci was founded in Florence during 1906. Gucci is now famous throughout the world for its clothing, watches, and bags. Vera Bradley was founded in the year 1982 by Patricia Miller and Barbara Bradley Baekgaard. Their first line of products included their soon-to-be-famous brightly patterned bags. Oscar de la Renta began his clothing line in 2001 and this included his early (fabric) cosmetic bag lines.
Many young women (and older women as well) wish to own a fabric cosmetic bag. They wish to own a fabric cosmetic bag because of several reasons. One it is perceived as a status symbol and as such only a dope or a pauper would be without one. Two, because the fabric cosmetic bag is considered the height of fashion in accessories (bags) and is a must-have for any socially aspiring young woman (or older women). And thirdly, because of the “someone else has it I have to have it” mentality. Trust me, I know all about the “someone else has it I have to have it” mentality; I have a younger brother and when we were kids it was always but he got one! Why can’t I have one?
Crowd, when you purchase a fabric cosmetic bag you are going to have to look for many things (and know what to look for in the first place). The main thing is, how much money you can spend and how much money you are willing to spend in order to acquire your specific choice of fabric cosmetic bag. The prices for these bags soar way up into the hundreds of dollars (US) and likely way, way past it when you start looking at famous, high end brand names (such as Gucci and Vera Bradley). Another thing to look for is the quality of the cosmetic bag. No, this does not always follow the more you spend the better it (the quality) is (though there are exceptions). So please know what you want, how much you can afford, and all of that before you go out and buy either a very cheap bag (both in price and quality) or an extremely expensive one because you believe it to be the best.
